Nandini Public School, Nandgram Ghaziabad celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with different activities for the students. The celebration gave students a chance to enjoy the festival and learn about the important events from the life of Lord Krishna.
Radha-Krishna Fancy Dress and Dance
Students came to school dressed up as Radha and Krishna in beautiful and colourful traditional costumes.
Students also performed a few dance steps on the floor. Their costumes and performances added a festive atmosphere to the celebration.
Scenes from Krishna Leela
Some important scenes from Krishna Leela were shown on smart panel for the students. Through these scenes, students got to see different events connected with the life of Lord Krishna which ultimately helped students to know about Krishna lifestyle.
Matki Decoration Activity
Students took part in a Matki Decoration activity. Students made and decorated matki designs on drawing sheets using their own ideas.
The activity allowed the students to use their creativity while making something related to the Janmashtami theme.
Movie on the Life of Lord Krishna
A movie based on the life of Lord Krishna was also shown to the students. It included important parts of his story, beginning with his birth in the jail, his childhood leelas in Gokul and his fight against Kansa.
Watching the story on screen helped students follow the different stages of Krishna’s life and understand the significance of the stories associated with Janmashtami.
A Day of Learning and Celebration
The different activities made the Janmashtami celebration an enjoyable experience for the students. Through fancy dress, dance, art, visual presentations and the movie, students were able to learn about Lord Krishna while taking part in activities related to the festival.
